Adjacent units, worktops, handles and flooring are masked and protected, and loose or damaged material is cut back to a sound edge.

Repair
The chip, edge or corner is rebuilt in layers and shaped back to the original profile and line of the door, panel or carcase.

Finish
Colour, sheen, grain and texture are matched to the surrounding finish as closely as the materials allow so the repair blends into the run.

Inspection
The repair is checked with you in daylight, the area is left clean, and we explain curing time and aftercare before normal use resumes.

Every surface is assessed before work is agreed. Where a repair is not the right long-term answer, we will say so.
- Water-damaged or swollen board usually needs replacement rather than a surface repair.
- Widespread delamination or peeling across a whole door or panel is beyond a localised repair.
- Units that are broken, sagging or no longer structurally sound need repair or replacement of the item itself.
- High-gloss, mirrored and heavily patterned finishes are harder to match, and we will say so before starting.
- A repair is a close blend, not an invisible one.
