Accessibility Statement

Surface Magic Repairs Ltd is a small specialist repair business. We build and maintain this website ourselves and try to keep it straightforward to read and to operate, whether someone is using a mouse, a keyboard, a phone, magnification or a screen reader.

Our design target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We treat that as the standard we work towards as pages are built and updated.

We do not claim full WCAG compliance and we have not commissioned a professional accessibility audit. We would rather tell you what we actually do than make a claim we cannot evidence.

• Clear heading structure, with one main heading per page and sections in a logical reading order.
• Navigation that can be operated by keyboard, including the Services, Service Areas and Company menus, which open, close and can be left using the keyboard alone.
• Visible focus styles so it is clear where you are on the page.
• A responsive layout that reflows for small screens and magnification, without needing to scroll sideways.
• Text alternatives for images, and decorative images marked so assistive technology can ignore them.
• Tap targets sized for touch, and buttons and links labelled by what they do rather than 'click here'.
• Contact information written out as text — telephone, email and our full address — so nothing important is only available inside an image, a map or an embedded form.

Parts of the site are provided by other companies and we cannot change how they are built:

• The TradeHQ enquiry form on our quotation page.
• The Google map on our contact page, and Google review content.
• The ReputationHub live review feed on our reviews page.

These may not meet the same standard as the rest of the site. Each one is optional and is only loaded if you allow it — see our cookie policy — and in every case there is a plain alternative: our address in text, a direct link to our Google profile, or sending your enquiry by email or telephone.

If you have trouble using any part of this website, or you need information in a different format — larger text, a plain email, or someone talking you through it — please get in touch and we will help.

This statement was prepared on 11 August 2026 based on our own testing of the site as it is built. We will review and update it as pages, menus and embedded content change, and when problems are reported to us.
